Description

The 2017 Mary's Walk and Kerrymen 5K is slated for Sunday, March 19th and in memory of Mary Kerry Libby, who lost her personal battle with cancer in 1997. Last year's event had more than 4,000 participants raising money and public awareness in the fight against cancer.

Please join this new fight to improve cancer prevention, screening and treatment by becoming a business sponsor of Mary's Walk. There are a variety of opportunities for business promotion.  All sponsors receive complimentary team entries and are recognized on maryswalk.org, which is visited by thousands of participants and supporters.

The event supports Maine Cancer Foundation, which recently launched an exciting new statewide initiative aimed at reducing cancer here in Maine 20% by 2020. Challenge Cancer 20|20 will focus on improving prevention, early detection and patient outcomes with translational and clinical research playing key roles.

Mary's Walk has donated more than $2.8 million for Maine-based cancer research and patient support programs. Now research will focus on a shift to translational and clinical application of new cancer therapies, creating broader potential for Maine patients to participate in evolving new techniques.

Please join this new fight to improve cancer prevention, screening and treatment by becoming a business sponsor of Mary's Walk. Sponsor information here.

For 18 years, Mary's Walk has been building memories, creating hope and making a difference.  Please partner with us this year to help keep hope alive.

Sincerely,

Gene R. Libby, Esq.
