    Name: Happy Trolleyween
    Date: October 30, 2020 - October 31, 2020
    Event Description:
To celebrate the last two days of our regular operating season at the Seashore Trolley Museum, we invite all to participate in Trolleyween! The event will take place on Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st during the Museum’s regular hours, 10AM-5PM.

The time of the ticket you purchase is the time your trolley ride departs from the Visitors Center, but please be encouraged to arrive early or stay later to enjoy the activities below and our outdoor campus.

Come in your Halloween Costume! Guests of all ages in costume will receive a bag of treats on your trolley ride! Prizes will be given out throughout the day for best costume!

Ghost Hunt! All guests will have the opportunity to search for lollipop ghosts hidden around the Museum. Lucky guests who find a ghost will be entered into a raffle for a free family membership for the 2021 season! Ghosts will be replenished throughout the day to ensure guests visiting at any time on Trolleyween have the opportunity to play.

Photo Scavenger Hunt!  A popular Seashore activity is back for a new round of objects to search for. Post your photos on our social media pages for your chance to win a free family membership for the 2021 season!

Unlimited Trolley Rides! If no other guests are waiting, hop on as many trolley rides as you would like during your visit.

Seashore Trolley Museum is taking the pandemic very seriously. Masks are required inside our Visitors Center, on the trolley ride, and when social distancing isn't possible outdoors.  High touch surfaces on trolleys are cleaned before and after each ride. We have turned off our water fountain per State of Maine guidelines, so please bring your own water (and we have water, beverages and pre-packaged snacks for sale in our Museum Store).

We have closed the items we have on display in the carbarns; traditionally our guests can go in all of our collection pieces and ring the bell, sit inside them, etc., but we just do not have the volunteer crew available to clean them as frequently as required during the pandemic. Check out our full external and internal COVID-19 policies, here before purchasing tickets: https://trolleymuseum.org/learn/bylaws-policies/covid-19-policies/

The operating trolleys were built in the late 1800s and early 1900s and as such are equipped with steep steps. The museum does have a Mobilift to help passengers with mobility challenges access and depart from select trolleys at our Visitors Center. If you or a member of your group would like to use the Mobilift, please let us know in advance by calling our Museum Store at (207) 967-2800 x113, or as soon as you arrive.

As of 9/14/20, the State of Maine welcomes visitors to the state from NH, MA, NY, NJ, CT and VT with no quarantine or travel restrictions. Residents from all other states must quarantine for two weeks in the State of Maine or bring results of a negative COVID-19 test taken within the previous 72 hours of your visit.

Day of the Event Screening Questions: If you or a guest in your group can answer “yes” to the following questions, we ask that you not visit the Museum at this time.

Have you had a cough or sore throat?
Have you had a fever or do you feel feverish?
Do you have shortness of breath?
Do you have a loss of taste or smell?
Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?
Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?

By purchasing tickets at this time, you and all guests in your group accept and agree to adhere to COVID-19 policies as written. Policies may change as the state of our Museum and Maine change. Updates to our policies will be posted on our website’s homepage (address below).

For questions or suggestions or to transfer tickets, please contact our Executive Director at (207) 967-2800 x101 or director@trolleymuseum.org. Review our internal policies and our most up-to-date guest COVID-19 policies at https://trolleymuseum.org/learn/bylaws-policies/covid-19-policies/
