    Event Description:

    People interested in beginning or returning to college are invited to visit the University of Maine at Augusta’s Saco Center during one of their “On The Spot Admit Days”.

    UMA’s On-the-Spot Admit Days offer first-year, transfer and returning students the chance to complete the application process, get accepted and enroll in classes – all in one visit. Several scholarships are available, and students who attend and register for classes will be placed in a drawing for one of three $1,000 scholarships.

    The application fee will be waived during these events.

    On the Spot Admit days will be held from 10 am - 6 pm on the following dates: Monday, August 5th; Wednesday, August 14th; Tuesday, August 20th; Monday, August 26th

    UMA’s Saco Center is one of eight UMA centers located across Maine. Located at 4 Scamman Street in Saco, UMA Saco serves the Saco/Biddeford community and greater York County area. The center also administers distance learning course sites in Sanford and South Berwick.
