The Center for Excellence in the Neurosciences at the University of New England has created an annual Brain Fair to engage the local community in a brain exploration, in a science museum-like experience. The goal of the fair is to promote interest in STEM disciplines within the greater community. All activities are free and open to the public. Activities are appropriate for ages 4 and up. Fair events include: ice skating, free helmet fittings and giveaways, concussion information hands-on microscopy exhibits, sheep brain and eye ball dissections, brain health and wellness information, optical illusions brain games, virtual reality demos, muscle stimulation, neuroscience art, learning and memory challenges, brain crafts, prizes and much more!
