SUMMARY:Pumpkin Patch Trolley
DESCRIPTION:A beloved family tradition now in its 22nd year\, Pumpkin Patch Trolley will return to the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport\, ME for nine days this season: Friday/Saturday/Sunday September 25\, 26\, 27 and October 2\, 3\, 4\, 9\, 10 & 11. The event will run from 11AM-3PM each day.\n\n\n\nGuests of all ages will be treated to antique trolley rides on a heritage railroad to the museum's very own Pumpkin Patch\, where all guests get to select a pumpkin to take home. Back at the Visitor's Center\, families can paint their pumpkins and participate in other COVID-safe family activities\, including craft-in-a-bag\, a cookie walk\, photo scavenger hunt\, and spending time checking out the museum's mostly outdoor exhibits and displays. Lunch service this year will be available by Texas Grace Kitchen. \n\n\n\nTo hold this event this season\, Seashore Trolley Museum has changed the traditional format and is taking extra precautions. The event will be held over twice as many days this year to spread out our guests. Trolleys that typically hold 50-100 guests will hold no more than 20-25 guests\; pumpkins will be socially distanced at the Patch\, and no carnival games will be held at the field this year due to COVID expectations. Trolleys are cleaned before and after each ride\, and masks are required in our Visitors Center\, on the trolleys\, and when social distancing isn't possible indoors and outdoors.\n\n\n\nIt is unknown how the pandemic will impact Halloween this year\, so even though it's a little early to celebrate\, the museum is encouraging guests to come in costume! Prizes will be given out each day for "Best Costume" and "Best Mask."\n\n\n\nAdmission is $14 for adults\, $12 for adults age 60+\, $11.50 for youth ages 6-16\, $7 for youth ages 3-5\, and $2 for youth under 3. All proceeds will benefit the Seashore Trolley Museum. \n\nTickets will go fast and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance at https://pumpkinpatchtrolley2020.eventbrite.com. The event will be held rain or shine\, but tickets may be transferred to another event day. \n\n\n\nThank you to event sponsor\, Kennebunk Savings!\n\n\n\nLocated at 195 Log Cabin Road in Kennebunkport\, Maine\, Seashore Trolley Museum is the world's oldest and largest electric railway and transit museum.\n\n\n\nFor more information\, please visit www.trolleymuseum.org or contact Katie Orlando\, 967-2800 x101 or email director@trolleymuseum.org.
