The Sweetser/Harvard Pilgrim Cycle or Stroll for Suicide Prevention is a community event on September 8, 2019, the start of National Suicide Prevention Week. The walk/ride takes place entirely on the Eastern Trail in Saco, which runs alongside Sweetser’s campus and makes for a perfect setting for families, community members, and outdoor enthusiasts. The event is to help raise awareness of suicide prevention. Proceeds from this event directly benefit Sweetser’s Crisis Services that provide mental health support at crucial moments, when and where it is needed.
