We’re excited to launch the Young Professionals Group (YPG) in the Biddeford & Saco community as one of our key 2025 initiatives. Evergreen Credit Union will be our lead member sponsor of this effort, helping us build and grow the program.

The Young Professionals Group will focus on providing young professionals with tools, skills, and networking opportunities to help them grow in their careers and make increasingly positive impacts in our communities. Through skill development, networking, interactive workshops, and collaborative projects, the program aims to inspire young leaders aged 20-39 to take on greater roles in their organizations and beyond.

The two main objectives for this Kick-Off Meeting are:

1. Connection: Build relationships with fellow young professionals in an informal setting

2. Organization: Establish a YPG Steering Committee comprised of participants interested in leading and shaping the group’s activities and focus going forward. The Steering Committee will meet monthly to design a calendar of events and serve as the primary drivers and communicators for all YPG activities going forward.

At this kick-off meeting, young professionals Chelsea Watson, Amanda Breton, and Paige Masse-Brooks from Evergreen Credit Union will serve as hosts and welcome everyone. They’ll facilitate informal networking activities and then share a preliminary overview of the YPG Program, concluding with an invitation to all the attendees to volunteer to serve and lead as part of the YPG Steering Committee.
