    Friends of the Newfields Public Library to Host Antique and Vintage Appraisal Event November 8, 2025 Event Open to the Public at The Brook Casino in Seabrook, NH FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 15, 2025 - Join Friends of the Newfields Public Library on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10am to 1pm at The Brook Casino in Seabrook, NH for an antiques and vintage appraisal event. Have you always wondered what a family heirloom or old baseball card collection is worth? Do you have a coin collection or jewelry that you’d like to know more about? Have it appraised by one of six expert antiques dealers at this fundraising event for Friends of the Newfields Public Library. When: Saturday, November 8, 2025, 10am - 1pm Where: The Brook Casino, 319 New Zealand Road, Seabrook, NH More details: Appraisal Fee Donation is being requested with a limit of 3 items per person. No firearms or weapons of any kind. Items must be small enough to fit in your lap and be hand carried inside the venue. Must be 18+ to enter. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available at no charge. Alcohol will be available for purchase. Friends is thrilled to be joined by Phelps Fullerton, Jamie Marston, David O’Bara, Dan Olmstead, Greg Pruitt, and John Raimo, who will be offering appraisals. The six antiques dealers are experts in their fields, covering items like jewelry, coins, militaria, books, stamps, trading cards, silver, advertising and country store items, holiday collectables, and Asian, European and American art. About Friends of the Newfields Public Library The Friends of the Newfields Public Library raise money to help support the Paul Memorial Library. Friends provides many materials and services that the Library could not otherwise afford. Our mission is to promote community support and literacy efforts by bringing together local residents. We focus attention on the library and stimulate public support to foster greater use of the library and its services, encourage gifts, endowments and bequests to the library, and generally support the library in developing its programs and facilities as an important center for the Newfields community. Because of those supporting us, we are able to provide the following: Purchase of books for local elementary school students and school library Museum passes to Strawbery Banke (Portsmouth), Children’s Museum of New Hampshire (Dover), the Seacoast Science Center (Rye), and more. Seasonal subscriptions and passes to activities around the Seacoast. Digital Library Subscriptions. Welcome gift for new residents. Support for the Summer Reading Program and Newfields Elementary School Literacy Program. “Friends Footnotes” quarterly newsletter mailed out to all Newfields households. Community events such as annual town-wide yard sale, and game nights.
